Overlooking Klutho Park along Hogan's Creek, the Karpeles Museum creates an impressive entrance to Historic Springfield. The Greek Revival structure, highlighted by towering Doric columns, was built in 1921. Beyond its amazing structure, the building features beautiful stained glass windows and original 1920's fixtures. Capacity: 4,484 square foot foyer and auditorium [the auditorium is 3,040 square feet). Seating main auditorium: 80 -100 comfortably (folding chairs and tables available for 80). Cocktail style; 200 comfortably. Balcony Seating for 185 (for performance events). Lower level available for catering services (no kitchen facilities).
Donation for use of Facility: $ 185.00 per hour (including set-up and clean-up time). $ 200.00 per hour after midnight. $ 200.00 security/damage deposit is required to secure date. Non-profit rates are available.
Because the Museum's rental hours/days are limited, available dates tend to fill very quickly. It is encouraged that interested parties submit their deposit to secure their event date at the earliest possible time and no less than 2 months in advance. Please contact us for more information.
